Dylan

November 18, 2016 by

I have to start this out by saying this special boy caused me to flunk Fostering 101. Dylan just never left after he got to my house when he was just 4 years old! We had a wonderful 6 years together and he really taught me a lot about shy/scared dogs. He trusted me enough to help him come out of his shell and became quite the ham over the years. He loved his family, cheese, playing with each and every one of his plushie toys all at once, naps on his various beds around the house, watching the world go by laying under a shade tree, running around the house, long walks, pumpkin, and peanut butter sandwiches. He taught me more than he ever knew, I’m sure, and really was the catalyst for me finding my calling in life and for that I could never thank him enough. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but he will never be forgotten. The picture of him was taken just after he’d made several mad dashes in and out of the house when it was muddy out. You can see his big ‘ol muddy paw prints on the carpet—but look how happy he was! Definitely worth cleaning up the mud to see him smile like that!! He’s just so tickled with himself. So goodbye my Dylan, I’m sure you’re having a ball up there with your doggie aunt and doggie cousin! Love you Love Bug!
